995,242. Locks. ALBERT MARSTON & CO. Ltd., and H. M. WILLIAMS. Feb. 23, 1962 [March 8, 1961], No. 8399/61. Heading E2A. A lever lock is characterized in that leaves 20 are provided between the levers 16 position to separate them, these leaves 20 being without any function in lifting the levers or operating the bolt. There is also provided a casing 11, a backplate 12, a bolt 13, the bolt levers and leaves all being pivoted at 14. A stud 17 mounted on the bolt 13 protrodues through gates 16a in the levers 16 and slots 22 in the leaves 20. The nosing 24 of key 14 engages with the levers 16 lifting them out of engagement with the stud 17 so that the key may engage a notch 27 in the bolt 13 to extend in into the shot position.
