Abstract
1481661 Cable retainer LA TELEMECANIQUE ELECTRIQUE 3 Jan 1975 [24. Jan 1974] 231/75 Headings E2A and E2B A cable retaining member comprises a base 1 and two triangular lugs 2, 3 which are parallel to one another and perpendicular to the upper face of base 1, one lug having a transverse projection 9 extending towards the other lug, a line joining the tops of lugs 2, 3 being at an angle to the parallel planes and parallel to the upper face of base 1. Base 1 may have means to fix it to a support or wall e.g. elastic members 11, 12. Projection 9 may be a rigid tongue having a downwardly facing concavity to prevent the conductors from moving vertically, 'as do bosses 8, 10 on members 2, 3 and rib 13 on base 1, which also prevents contact with any metal members provided on the mounting plate or wall. In alternative embodiments, two such devices may be integrally connected (Fig. 5, not shown), the other branch member may have an additional rigid tongue (19, Fig. 6, not shown) or the fixing means 11, 12 may be at the side of the base member.
