Abstract

1478801 Hinge mounting arrangements BLUM GmbH 7 Jan 1975 [14 Jan 1974] 646/75 Heading E2F A hinge mounting arrangement comprises a hinge arm 2 slidable on an intermediate member 1 which is detachably secured to a mounting plate 3 by means of projections 7 which can slidably engage under anchorage portions 8 on the plate 3; the dimensions of projections 7 and portions 8 being such that one projection may be engaged and has space to be slid further in the engaging direction to enable the other projection to be engaged. A free space F is arranged to be at least equal to the overlap length b k of projection 7 and portion 8. Instead of facing outward (as shown) the projections 7 can face inward (Figs. 1, 4 not shown). A locking screw 5 acts between the arm 2 and member 1, a locking screw 4 acts between the plate 3 and the member 1, and an adjustment screw 6 affects the relative position of upper and lower pivoted parts of the member 1. As shown (and in Fig. 4 not shown) the upper and lower parts of the member 1 and the pivot which connects them are defined by a slot cut in the member but the parts can be separate and joined by a pivot pin (Fig. 1 not shown). Plate 3 is narrower in the direction normal to the plane of the Fig. than member 1 and arm 2 so relative adjustment in that direction is also possible.
