Abstract

1478137 Walking aid HAVEN PRODUCTS Ltd 17 June 1974 [30 June 1973] 31293/73 Heading A6M A walking aid comprises a framework of two parallel right quadrilateral side frames 1 and 2 that are joined by cross-members 4, 4A and 4B so positioned as to allow the user to stand between the side frames, the members 1A and 2A of the side frames extending to form legs 1B and 2B that terminate in rolling devices, such as castors and gripping means 5 attached to the frame bridging the horizontal members 1C, 1D on each side frame 1, 2. Structures 7 and 8 supported between the side frames may be provided for carrying items. The structures 7 and 8 may be trays and baskets and may be supported at different levels; they may be clipped to the framework. The holding means may be removably attached for instance by having spigots that fit into sockets in tubes 9, and may be simple handles with grips, handles with forearm supports (6) or a U-shaped bar.
