1477062 Gas turbine plant TURBINE INDUSTRIE 19 March 1975 [20 March 1974] 11523/75 Heading F1G A gas turbine plant comprises a first turbine rotor 14 and a supersonic compressor rotor 4 mounted on a shaft 6 supported by oil bearings 15 upstream of the rotors, and a second turbine rotor 18 on a second shaft 20 supported downstream of the second rotor on oil bearings 21, 22, the radius of the first turbine rotor being 2 to 10% less than that of the compressor rotor. One or more combustion chambers 8 are arranged eccentrically at the shaft axis.
