Abstract

1471861 Mounting articles on clothing W G MAITLAND 25 Nov 1974 [28 Aug 1973] 9828/73 Heading A3H [Also in Division E2] A clip assembly 10 for mounting articles and suspending the same from support means, e.g. clothing, includes a spring steel clip member 12 of generally U-shaped configuration and which, in use, is inverted and clipped over at least a part of the support means, a ring member 18 connected to one 14 of the legs 14, 16 of the clip member, and a hook member 24 freely mounted on the ring member 18 for mounting the articles e.g. keys, watches, knives, compasses, or tools. The connection for the ring 18 to the leg 14 is provided by a bent over portion of the free end of the leg. The hook member 24 has a spring loaded pivotally mounted mousing piece 30. The hook member 24 may be formed from a single piece of metal, the free ends of which overlap and are biassed together to form a substantially closed loop.
