1469328 Composition for preserving green forage BASF AG 6 June 1974 [7 June 1973] 25176/74 Heading A1F A chemical composition for preserving green forage such as lucerne, grass or rape before, during, or after storage consists of as the main organic preservative a mixture of glutaric acid, adipic acid and succinic acid present as such or one or more being present as the anhydride. The composition may additionally contain aluminium formate and/or sodium chloride and/or magnesium sulphate and/or sodium nitrate and/or trace elements manganese and/or cobalt and/or copper. The mixture may be added in amounts from 0.15 to 1.5 percent by weight.
