Abstract

1464835 Cooling circuits STAL REFRIGERATION AB 21 Oct 1975 [21 Oct 1974] 43172/75 Headings F4H and F4U A refrigeration plant comprises a compression 4, condensation 5 and evaporation 6 type refrigeration system for cooling a brine tank 1, a cold accumulator tank 2 in direct communication with tank 1 via a pump 7 and a plurality of cooling radiator elements 3 each connected to a common supply line 15 and a common discharge line 16. Each element 3 is integral with a pump 8 and a non-return valve 9. A defrost line 10 is provided for each element 3, the line 10 including a non-return valve 11 and a heating element 12. The heating element 12 is controlled by a timer 13 and a thermostat 14. When defrosting of one of the cooling radiators is required, the appropriate pump 8 is reversed, causing the corresponding valve 9 to close and the corresponding valve 11 to open.
