1463696 Photodegradable polyolefin compositions BASF AG 21 June 1974 [22 June 1973] 27591/74 Heading C3P Moulding compositions comprise (1) a thermoplastic olefin polymer and (2) as prodegradant 0À01 to 3 weight per cent of bis(cyclopentadienyl iron dicarbonyl). The olefin polymer may be a polyethylene, polypropylene or polybutene-1. The compositions may be used to make foamed or unfoamed containers or sheets, or agricultural mulching films.
