Abstract

1463322 Capacitors INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 19 Sept 1974 [26 Sept 1973] 40859/74 Heading H1M On development of excess pressure within sealed capacitor housing 1, flexible member 2 moves from the inwardly arched position shown over centre to an outwardly coated position to rupture lead wire 7 having a preset breaking point. As shown member 2 also constitutes a closure member supporting the capacitor terminals, and is secured to easing 1 by turning over the end thereof on to member 2 against gasket 3 and spacing sleeve 5.
