Abstract

1462645 Injection moulding machine control NETSTAL-MASCHINEN AG 24 Jan 1974 [7 Feb 1973] 3426/74 Heading B5A An injection moulding machine for plastics, comprises an hydraulically actuated plasticizing and injection screw 3 in an injection cylinder 2, a programming device influencing the hydraulic pressure via a control device, a device 13 for the continuous measuring of the hydraulic pressure, means 9 and 10 for measuring the velocity of and distance moved by the screw, timing means 17, and a switching device 14 which, when the hydraulic pressure reaches a predetermined value or, should the predetermined value not be reached when the screw has covered a predetermined distance, switches the control of the mould filling from being velocity controlled in screw distance dependent manner over to a pressure controlled after-pressure phase in time dependent manner.
