Abstract

1462608 Comb construction N SCHLUMBERGER & CIE 30 Jan 1975 [7 Feb 1974] 4033/75 Heading D1N Comb bars of a circular comb for a rectilinear comber comprise flat sectioned bars 11 each with a convex outer face which carries card clothing elements mounted on a cage 25. The cage 25 is of sheet metal bent over the ends of toothed wire card clothing pieces 22. These are retained on the bars by spring clamps 31. In assembly on the comb cylinder toothed areas are separated by a distance d. The clothing on different bars may have its teeth slanted in opposite directions.
