Abstract

932,150. Card clothing. F. REITERER, L. WINDISCH, and J. NIFENECKER. April 12, 1962 [Feb. 12, 1962], No. 14176/62. Class 120 (3). A tooth of a card clothing is of generally truncated pyramidal form having its frontal and dorsal faces inclined in the same direction and curved to present respective concave surfaces as viewed from the front of the tooth. The tooth has a flat top surface, is made of any metal, and may be tempered throughout or only in the upper part. The heel of the carding may be plain or recessed. The principal dimensions of a card clothing are given.
