Kinematograph apparatus.-In a kinematograph projector, bearings for the operating shaft, the intermittent mechanism, the feed sprockets, and the shutter are carried by a casing of which one part is a toothed wheel carried by the operating shaft and directly drives the above-mentioned parts ; the casing completely encloses the gear wheels and carries the projection lens, and the toothed wheel carrries the pulley driving the take-up spool. As shown, the casing b has a sleeve bearing b' for the operating shaft c, bearing-sleeves b<4> for the shafts h of the sprockets h<1>. a bearing-sleeve b<5> for the shaft k of a cam k<1> driving a feeding device k<2> of known type, and a bearing sleeve b<6> for a shutter shaft m. The toothed wheel d has internal teeth d<1> engaging pinions on the shafts hk, and crown teeth d<2> engaging a pinion m<2> on the shutter shaft m. The feed and take-up spools are carried by brackets secured to the casing, and the take-up spool is driven by a belt drive from a pulley d<3> formed in one with the wheel d. Presser rolls i for the sprockets h<1> are carried by levers i<1> pivoted at i<2> and are held in operative positions by spring-pressed plungers i<3>. The lens tube o has a pin o<1> engaging an oblique slot n<1> in a shell n attached to the casing b to facilitate focusing.
