Abstract
1460255 Reciprocating pumps and motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 7 March 1975 [16 March 1974] 9659/75 Heading F1A In a radial piston pump or motor comprising a rotary cylinder block 6 supported on a stationary valve pintle 5 and having pistons 8 engaging an eccentric track ring 10 via slippers 9, the bearing capacity of hydrostatic bearing fields, produced between the cylinder block and pintle by grooves 22 to 25 on each side of inlet and outlet ports 18, 19, is increased by the provision of further grooves 40 to 43 and 46 to 49 in the lands 36, 37 between the ports 18, 19. Grooves 22 and 24 are connected by a bore 35, and grooves 23 and 25 by a bore 34. Grooves 41, 43 and 46, 48 are connected to port 19 by ducts 54 to 57 respectively, and grooves 40, 42 and 47, 49 to port 18 by ducts 52, 53, 58, 59, respectively. Each duct may have a throttle 60. Slippers 9 are held on track ring 10 by rings 11, 12. Drive-shaft 13 is coupled to cylinder block 6 by a coupling disc 17 with interengaging dogs and slots.
