Abstract

1460176 Endless conveyers FR HESSER MASCHINENFABRIK AG 2 April 1974 [3 April 1973] 14504/74 Heading B8A A conveyer comprises holders 70 carried by a chain 50, adjacent links 51, 52 of the chain being interconnected by a spindle 55 and having arms 68, 69 which cross over and carry wall portions 53, 54 of a holder 70, and a device 15 being provided to laterally deflect the spindle 55, when the chain is stationary, so as to open the holder 70 to release the conveyed article. The pair of links 51, 52 are connected to the adjacent pairs by spindles 56, the spindles 55, 56 carrying rollers 57 guided by rails 58, 59. The links 52 carry rollers 60 supported on a rail 61. The holders convey packages 67 along sliders 65, 66, and are halted when a package is seated on a weighing table 63, the holder being open to release the package for weighing.
