1457227 Orthopaedic chair M G FERNANDEZ 11 July 1975 29310/75 Heading A4J An orthopaedic chair which is used to correct lateral curvature of the spinal column comprises a seat 1 tiltable laterally about a longitudinal axis by means of hinges 3 and supported in adjusted position by a set of rotatable stepped wedges 4 held in position by a screw threaded rod 6 and butterfly nut 7. The upper surface of the seat is provided with a groove (2) Fig. 3 (not shown) extending from the centre of the rear edge of the seat to the centre of the seat.
