1457121 Desulphurizing ferrous melts ROUND OAK STEEL WORKS Ltd 3 April 1974 [6 Jan 1973] 893/73 Headings C7D and C7M Composition for desulphurizing a ferrous melt contains in parts wt. 52-58 lime, 22-27 fluorspar, 10-20 Al 2 O 3 dross, 3-7 Na 2 CO 3 . Desulphurization is effected either by injecting the composition into the furnace or by adding part to the ladle before pouring and the remainder to the molten metal while pouring into the ladle.
