Abstract

1456470 Dolls MARVIN GLASS & ASSOCIATES 23 Oct 1974 [7 Nov 1973] 45853/74 Heading A6S The hair styling of a doll may be changed by rotation of a head portion 26, having hair sections of different characteristics thereon, relative to the rest of the doll head. In the embodiment shown the semispherical head portion 26 has a dark hair section 44 covering a lighter colour hair section 42. By rotating portion 26 through 180‹, by means of shaft 28 clipped into head section 12, the lighter hair section 42 is caused to cover the dark hair section 44 (see Figure 4, not shown). Two detents 40 on head portion 26 engage with recesses 38 in head portion 12 and maintain the portion 26 in the desired position. Various combinations of styles and colour may be used in the hair sections.
