Abstract

1455240 Turf-treating machine SISIS EQUIPMENT (MACCLESFIELD) Ltd 9 Jan 1974 [9 Nov 1972] 51637/72 Headings A1B and A1F A turf-treating machine comprises tines 14 or blades mounted on a body portion 10, a motor 20, ground wheels 16, 18, a handle 22 and adjustment means 24 whereby the wheels 16 may be pivoted on the body portion and the vertical position of the lines 14 relative to the wheels 16, 18, may be adjusted. The wheels 16 are mounted on a pair of arms 26 pivotally attached to the body portion 10, one of the arms 26 having an extension bar 32 incorporating a swivelling bracket 34 which is connected to the shaft 40. The shaft 40 has a threaded portion 44 which engages a nut 46 pivotally secured to the body 10 by a bracket 48 and by rotation of the finger wheel 42, the wheel 16 moves longitudinally and pivots relative to the body portion 10 thus adjusting the height of the tines 14. The handle 22, is adapted to pivot relative to the portion 10.
