1455064 Measuring continuous lengths of material MOVATEX PRODUCTS Ltd 25 Jan 1974 34698/74 Divided out of 1455063 Heading G1M Tape is measured as it is pulled between two rollers, one roller having a sponge-like cover to enable it to take up the shape of the other roller and prevent tape slippage. The harder roller actuates a counter as it rotates, by means of a cam 177 on its axle. The separation of the axes of the rollers may be varied by mounting the axle 167 of the soft roller eccentrically in a supporting shaft 169, the shaft being held in a boss 171.
