Abstract

1454896 Clamps PARLATEX Ltd 16 Nov 1973 [1 Jan 1973] 57/73 Heading E2B A clamp 16 e.g. for securing a mud flap 10 to a vehicle body flange 12 comprises a bracket having a limbs 18, 19, the latter being formed into a U-shaped part 20, and a cam 28 having a flat 30, carried on a shaft 22 provided with a head 26 by which the shaft and the cam are rotated whereby the flange 12 and mud flap are clamped together. The limb 18 may be formed with pips 21 to prevent slippage and the head 26 may have indicia such as an arrow to indicate that the cam is in clamping condition.
