Abstract
1326437 Clips BOWTHORPE-HELLERMANN Ltd 22 Dec 1971 [12 Dec 1970] 59183/ 70 Heading E2B [Also in Division H1] A plastics clip 10 for retaining an M.O.S. transistor comprises a rectangular relatively inflexible body portion 12 to which two gripping jaws 14a, 14b are integrally connected by reduced thickness neck portions 16a, 16b each jaw carrying gripping portions 19a, 19b provided with lips 22a, 22b and the neck portions being resilient so that moving the gripping portions towards each other pivots the jaws apart. Between the jaws the body portion may be provided with a conductive layer 24 so that when an M.O.S. transistor is gripped between jaws 14a, 14b its terminals are shorted together. A sighting aperture 26 may be provided in the body portion 12 and a corresponding aperture 28 in the conductive layer to ensure that the component is properly located.
