Bolts and set-screws; nuts. -A bolt or screw head, nut, &c. comprises a boss having radial arms to receive a turning-tool, the arms being formed integral with a base which is apertured between the arms. In the nut shown in Figs. 3 and 4, a base a<1>, which may be circular or polygonal in contour, has a central threaded boss b<1> from which radiate arms d<1>, apertures e<1> for receiving a tool being provided in the base.
