Abstract

1452562 Removing bromides from soil BAYER AG 8 Nov 1974 [10 Nov 1973] 48411/74 Heading C1B A plant-growth-supporting substrate is treated with an anion exchange resin containing amino and/or ammonium groups to inactivate bromide residues therein. The resin may be added before or after decontamination of the substrate with an organo bromine compound. The resin is preferably in the salt form (e.g. as NO 3 -, H 2 PO 4 - or HCO 3 -).
