1452553 Making electrical wall boxes FITTER & POULTON Ltd 20 May 1975 [19 March 1974] 12084/74 Heading B3A [Also in Division H2] A metal electrical enclosure or box comprising a base wall 1 and a continuous upstanding wall 2 in which the edge of an opening in the wall is rolled over to form a smooth continuous lip 4 defining an aperture 3. The opening is produced by removing a "knock-out" panel and the lip is formed by a press top. Any number of apertures may be produced in any of the walls and the apertures may also be circular.
