Abstract

The preferably metal skirting-board (1) is rectangular in shape, with shallow breadth and long length and is divided inside by a partition to form two recesses (3, 4). One recess (3) takes power-leads and the other recess (4) takes low-voltage wires (6). Each recess (3, 4) has a cover (8) which is clipped on by its edges. The top cover has rims forming a dovetailed recess between them for a wiring strip (11). The semi-rigid plastic strip (11) has two hooks on its front along its entire length into which electric wires are inserted.
