Abstract

1452401 Moving display devices X-PANDING PRODUCTS AB 6 March 1974 [14 March 1973] 10088/74 Heading G5C In apparatus for displaying a succession of flexible sheets such as posters, films, or the like, each sheet 52 is suspended by its upper edge from a holder 51 supported by a stirrup 48 whose ends enter bushings 47 in opposed parallel intermittently driven chains 28, 29. As each sheet 52 reaches the top, turn-over, position, driven rollers 40 are lowered to press against return roller 53 and rapidly feed the hanging sheet through to the rear position on chains 28, 29. The apparatus is mounted in a U-shaped frame 10 which is detachable from a housing 14, 15, 16, 17 to which a viewing aperture 18 is formed. Chains 28, 29 are carried by a shaft 38 intermittently rotated through one-way clutch 46 as lever 45 is reciprocated by connection 44 with driven eccentric 43.
