Abstract

1451678 Litter bins H J HAUSER 13 June 1974 26284/74 Heading A4A [Also in Division G5] A litter bin has a stand 4, a removable litter container 3 surrounded by a transparent or translucent protective enclosure 1 and, arranged in the space between container 3 and enclosure 1, lighting elements such as 8 illuminating display material on interchangeable transparent or translucent plastics placards 9 which are mounted in a frame 2. An electric motor 5 within stand 4 rotates frame 2 and the display. Litter container 3 is surrounded by a protective wall 2' which also acts as a reflector. A drop-down lid 10 is provided, and a collar 3' centres container 3. Enclosure 1 and/or frame 2 may have a circular, square or hexagonal crosssection with a truncated conical shape.
