Abstract

1282578 Advertising device R TROTOUX 10 Dec 1969 [13 Dec 1968] 60199/69 Heading G5C A drum 1 is suspended near its upper end (e.g. via arms 2) from a driven shaft 6 through a universal joint 4. This arrangement permits the sidewall of the drum, which may carry posters, to remain vertical when the device is mounted for display in a moving vehicle. The side wall of the drum may be of transparent or translucent material and carry opaque indicia visible by means of a light source within the drum. The shaft may be rotated by an electric motor 12 below a fixed base 9 joined by plates 10 to a tube 7 in which the shaft 6 rotates.
