Abstract

1451474 Air dryer W C FRASER 19 Sept 1974 [3 July 1973] 31685/73 Heading B1L An air dryer comprises a casing 10 having an air inlet 22 at the bottom and an air outlet at the top, at least one tray 24 supporting hygroscopic material 26, a fan 44 and motor unit 46 mounted in the upper part of the casing 52 and at least one heating element 50 mounted above the fan and motor unit. The dryer may include spraying means 42 connected to a water supply whereby the trays may be washed clean when the hygroscopic material is exhausted. The trays 24 may be removably mounted on runners 40.
