Abstract

1448666 Window frames, glazing PERCY LANE GROUP Ltd 7 Dec 1973 [9 Sept 1972] 40809/72 Headings E1J and E1R A window panel structure comprises a frame with a mullion member 10, two window panels, and a locking member (42, Fig. 2) which has a central portion located in a slot 18 in member 10 and its ends pressing the panels against member 10. Each panel has a glass pane 34, a frame 26 and glazing beads 36 secured to frame 26 by screws 37. The member 10 has a plurality of slots, locking members being inserted by movement longitudinally of the member 10. Flanges 48 on the locking member have serrations 52 which engage ribs 54 on panel frames 26, the flanges 30 on the frames 26 being pressed via seal 40 against flanges 14 on member 10. A plastics cover (56) may be clipped over the locking members. The slot may be blind and the locking member inserted by movement laterally of the frame member.
