Abstract

1448306 Mounting spindles SACO-LOWELL CORP 2 July 1974 [9 Oct 1973] 29292/74 Heading DID A spindle blade is mounted in a rail on a ring spinning machine by a spherically convex bearing surface 34 on the spindle blade and a concave surface 34 on the spindle rail. The spherically curved bearing surfaces are clamped together by a flange 26 and joining means 42, 44, 46 to join the flange rigidly to the spindle rail whilst permitting adjustment of the spindle blade relative to the ring. The curved bearing surfaces can be centred on the spindle blade. Alternative joining means are specified.
