Abstract

1447935 Terminals ALMA ENTERPRISES Ltd 6 Feb 1975 [4 Dec 1974] 52542/74 Heading H2E A terminal connector for a closure disc 11 for a capacitor comprises a rigid member 1 of metallic strip (e.g. brass) with means 7, 8 retaining a resilient member 14. A wire held between the resilient portion 16 and the arm 6 may be released by depressing the portion 16, with a tool against the finger 9. The connector is joined to the base by cylindrical rivets 12 to which are soldered the electrodes. The connectors may be covered by an insulating housing (Fig. 4, not shown) which is held in place by protrusions (20) fitting in holes 10 in the connector, said housing being provided with apertures (18, 19) for receiving respectively the wires and the tool for releasing said wires.
