Abstract

1446364 Valves NISSAN MOTOR CO and NIHON RADIATOR CO Ltd 11 Jan 1974 [11 Jan 1973] 01310/74 Heading F2V A pressure control valve comprises an outer casing having an inlet 42 and an outlet 44, a coaxially disposed inner casing 60 to form a passageway 62, the inner casing having a sealed downstream end and at least one hole 72 adjacent the upstream end to allow fluid flow into the passageway 62, a valve spool 74 axially slidable within the inner casing, and biasing means 80 to urge the spool to a closed position. The spool may be provided with sealing means 82 and the biasing means with an adjusting screw 76. The passageway 62 communicates with the outlet 44 through holes 66 and the valve may be connected between the fluid condensor and evaporator of a refrigerator.
