1444979 Protecting shorelines from erosion D M WARWICK 13 Aug 1973 38216/73 Heading E1H A structure for preventing erosion of a bank or shore 1 comprises a wall 9 extending above and below the waterline 3 along, but spaced from the bank 1, supported on arms 4 which are founded on the bank on the landward side of the water edge. The arms 4 are mounted in cantilever on blocks 5 and are secured at their ends 7 in ground anchors 6. A secondary wall formed by vertically slidable panels 10 located in guides 11 on the arms 4 may be provided.
