Abstract
1429685 Reactors COLEBRAND Ltd 7 May 1974 [18 May 1973] 23857/73 Heading G6C A reactor building 1 is erected on a concrete base 2 acting as a basin leading to a waterway from which a reactor-bearing hull 3 is transported. That hull is lowered on to bearers, e.g. 2B by pumping dry the basin. The hull also acts as a biological shield and may have fuel element stores Figs. 2, 3 (neither shown). Lock gates are provided in the waterway.
