Respirators. - A pocket respirator comprising a bowl-shaped receptacle for holding filtering - material is fitted with a perforated lid b and with a central tube e. The tube carries a mouthpiece i at one end, an exhalation valve g at the other end, and intermediate inlet holes f. In.operation, air enters the holes d and thence passes by way of the filtering material and holes f to the mouth. The exhaling-valve, comprises a sheet of rubber fixed to the plate h at the comers only. The lid is secured to the receptacle by bayonet-catches c.
