Abstract
1441536 Control wiring assembly INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 12 Sept 1974 [19 Sept 1973] 39788/74 Heading H1R In a wiring arrangement for clock controlled electronic-equipment comprising plural switching circuit chains on a wiring board divided into n multiple groups of wires; the individual wires within a group are arranged parallelly one to the other to define an orthogonal co-ordinate system; the multiple systems thus formed being turned angularly by X one with respect to another to minimize crosstalk between groups. Fig. 1 shows four double clock controlled switching chains each comprising an input flip-flop 1, switching elements 2 to 8, and an output flip-flop 9; chains A1/B1, A2/B2 operating at clock rate T1 and chains A3/B3 and A4/ B4 at clock rate T2; portions A, B of the chains being integrated plug in modules interconnected by link wires V1 ... V4; crosstalk being minimized between the chains operated at different clock rates by the wiring arrangement. A wiring board (Fig. 2) retains modules A1 ... B4 in position shown and link wires V1, V2 interconnecting modules clocked at rate T1 form a co-ordinate system K1 while the wires V3, V4 linking modules clocked at T2 define co-ordinate system K2 angled at #/4 relative to system K2 whereby crosstalk between the groups is reduced. Crosstalk between wires V1, V2, V3, V4 inter so is unobjectionable if they are respectively pulsed in identical or adjacent time slots.
