Abstract

1440955 Waveguide junction circulators THOMSON-CSF 26 Nov 1973 [28 Nov 1972] 54789/73 Heading H1W A H-plane waveguide junction circulator is centrally divided in the H-plane by a conductive septum 11 whereby each port is divided into two series-connected ports and the circulator into parallel channels. Additional ferrite discs 12, 13 are provided one on either side of the septum 11. An improvement in power-handling capacity is obtained. A four-port circulator may be obtained by connecting two three-port circulators, according to the invention, in tandem.
