Abstract

1440359 Post office relays PLESSEY CO Ltd 13 Sept 1974 [8 Nov 1973] 51855/73 Heading H1N A twin relay of the post office type has a common magnetic member comprising two core strips 5, 6, on which coils (not shown) are mounted; the strips extending from opposite sides 8, 9 of a T-shaped piece 1 which with a strip 4 extending (parallel to straps 5, 6) from the crossbar of the T forms the yoke of the relays. Two armatures (not shown) rock on a knife edge 10 of the strip 4 to operate respective leaf-spring contact pile-ups (not shown) mounted at 13 and 14.
