1439597 Roofing PERMANITE Ltd 1 June 1973 [2 June 1972] 25948/72 Heading EIW A roof comprises a structural decking, a weatherproof covering and adhered over the covering tiles or slabs of thermal insulation material protectively coated individually by a layer comprising a fibre base coated on both faces with bitumen or coal tar pitch and which has a bonded upper surfacing of mineral aggregate. The insulation material may be foamed polystyrene or foamed glass. The protective coating may be as more particularly described in Specification 1285541 and further insulation material may be provided between the decking and the weatherproof covering.
