Abstract
1439211 Haymaker with rotary rake head support wheel MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG GOTTMADINGEN 16 Oct 1973 [17 Oct 1972] 48158/73 Heading A1F Haymaking apparatus which comprises at least one rotary rake head having a ground engaging support wheel 12 which is lockable in an "upper windrowing position" or a "lower tedding position" and which is spring biassed such that upon raising the rake head(s) and unlocking the associated wheel(s), each wheel pivots to a point mid-way between its locked positions to facilitate manual change over from one position to the other. The wheel is mounted on an arm 10 which is fixed to a plate 13 but pivoted via a pin 11 to a shaft 9 attached to the rake head shaft (not shown). Spring 18 biasses the wheel, which is locked by engagement of spring biassed bolt 16 in either of plate holes 14, 15. Alternatively, the arm 10 can be pivoted to the rotary rake head shaft.
