1437392 Injection mould R HASENCLEVER [trading as HASCO-NORMALIEN HASENCLEVER & CO 4 July 1973 [6 July 1972] 31797/73 Heading B5A An injection mould comprises two main parts 10, 11 which are movable apart normal to a dividing plane P, each main part including a plurality of mould elements, the mould elements of each part being aligned among themselves and the two main parts being aligned relative to each other by means of guide elements comprising guide sleeves 22, 24 and guide rods 23 (Fig. 3), the guide elements having eccentric peripheral surfaces in the zone of penetration of at least one of the mould elements to be aligned, and being supported in bores 30 in the mould elements for rotational adjustment. In Figs. 2 and 3 mould slides 19 abutting at 20 are guided by guide bars 21 whose position is adjustable (to compensate for wear) by rotating eccentric elements 24. The guide bars 21 are secured in position by screws 31 which are released while adjustment is being effected. Each guide sleeve 24 has an eccentric peripheral surface and rotation of the sleeve is facilitated by diametrical grooves 29 in its upper end. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which mould plates 15, 34 are adjustable by rotating eccentric bushes 37, 36 respectively. Guide rods 123 are received in the bushes 37 which have a non-eccentric portion 37a. In a further embodiment (Figs. 7 to 9, not shown) a finer adjustment is possible by using two guide sleeves (24a, 24b) inserted one into the other, and each having an eccentric peripheral surface.
