Abstract

1436875 Sheet forming PLASTONA (JOHN WADDINGTON) Ltd 4 Aug 1973 37116/73 Addition to 1232473 Heading B5A [Also in Division B8] An improvement in or modification of the invention disclosed in Specification 1,232,473 comprises forming the containers in and then removing them from a laminate made up of a sheet of polystyrene, polypropylene or polyethylene, and a sheet of A.B.S. stuck thereto in such a way that after the containers are removed from the laminate the polystyrene, polypropylene or polyethylene can be separated from the A.B.S. and reused. The two sheets may be stuck together by partial compatability under heat and pressure or by electrostatic attraction. The container may be coated on its inner surface with a sealing material. The containers can be formed by male and female moulds or by vacuum forming. An extra layer of, e.g. polypropylene or polyethelene can be applied to the A.B.S. to render it impermeable.
