[Also in Division B8] A method for the manufacture of thin-walled containers comprising the steps of forming the containers in and then removing the containers from a laminate made up of a sheet of polystyrene and a sheet of polyvinyl chloride or a copolymer thereof stuck to the polystyrene in such a way that after the formed containers are removed from the laminate, the polystyrene can easily be separated from the polyvinyl chloride and re-used. The two sheets may be stuck together by partial compatability under heat and pressure, by electrostatic attraction &c. The P.V.C. or its copolymer forms the inner lining of the containers, and may be coated on its exposed surface with a sealing solution. The plastics materials may be transparent or of the same or different colours. The containers may be of round, square &c. cross-section. The containers are formed by moulding, e.g. in male and female moulds or by vacuum.
