1436058 Windscreen wipers SWFSPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 17 April 1974 [11 May 1973] 16759/74 Heading A4F A windscreen wiper blade assembly comprises a wiper element 20 held in a resilient plastics yoke 10 of substantially C-shaped cross-section formed integrally with blades 11, 12 fitting into longitudinal grooves 21, 22 in the wiper element, and to facilitate insertion and removal of the blades 11, 12 into and from the grooves the yoke 10 is flexible about its longitudinal axis. To provide such flexibility the illustrated yoke 10 has a longitudinal hinge formed by providing a groove 13 on its inner surface.
