Abstract

1430591 Glazing P A YORKE 14 March 1973 [14 March 1972] 11787/72 Heading E1R A glazing bar comprises a main member 2 having a web 6 with a transverse flange 10, and a capping member 4 with a transverse flange 14 from which locating means 16 project, the members being securable together to clamp the edge of a pane between the flanges. The members are secured by a screw 20 extending through member 4 and between projections 16 and limbs of a bifurcated portion of the web 6, the screw urging the limbs into engagement with projections 16. Channel 28 receives bolts securing the member to a purlin or rafter. The capping member is flexible to facilitate the overlapping of adjacent panes.
