Abstract
1430049 Drying KESTING INTERPREFAB AG 20 May 1974 [18 May 1973] 22341/74 Heading F4S A method for transporting pallets during the production of large panels of reinforced concrete in which the pallets arranged one behind another and loaded with the concreted large panels, are lowered, fed into a steam curing tunnel for hardening, are discharged from the steam curing tunnel, are lifted again and after removal of the large panels again loaded with large concrete panels to be cured, during lowering, a stack of pallets is formed the pallets are brought into the steam curing tunnel in the stack and the stack is transformed during lifting and before reloading of the pallets to the original formation of pallets one behind another. A plant for the production of large panels from reinforced concrete comprises a production section 1 with rails 4 on which the pallets run. The pallets have similar rails 6 so that they can be stacked on a hoisting unit 7 at either side of the production section and of the steam curing tunnel 3. Each hoist comprises a platform 11 controlled by piston and cylinder 8. The pallets are fed one at a time to one hoisting unit 7 which is lowered thereby forming a stack of pallets which is then. transferred on rails 12 to the curing tunnel. The curing tunnel has pivoted covers 14 which hermetically seal the tunnel and are raised by pistons and cylinders 16 to allow entry and discharge of the stack. After curing in the steam tunnel the stack is transferred on the rails 12 to the second hoisting unit 7 which is then raised and the pallets are discharged one behind the other while a second series of pallets with reinforced concrete panels are fed to the other hoisting unit. Pivoted rails 18 are lowered by pistons and cylinders to allow the pivoted tunnel covers 14 to descend to seal the tunnel. The curing is at an increased pressure of 0À5 to 2À00 atmospheres within the tunnel.
