Abstract

1429750 Feeding sheets JAGENBERGWERKE AG 9 May 1974 [18 May 1973] 20409/74 Heading B8R Labels are separated from an on-edge pile in a. box 39 by removal members 6,. 7 and 8 arranged for movement around an axis 9. on a carrier 1 and for movement relative to the carrier on shafts 3, 4 and. 5. The drive for the shafts is derived from a stationary sun-wheel 23 with which pinions 22 associated with each shaft engage. The pinions are connected to their respective shafts by a coarse thread such that axial displacement of a pinion on its shaft by means of a cam causes acceleration or retardation of the associated removal member. The separated lavel may be carried on the removal member to a gumming roller 38 and then transferred to a gripper cylinder 40.
